Many websites across the Internet have offered the AT&T iPhone factory unlock service for nearly half a year or more. However these blissful days are over with the new news this October that sites will no longer be able to unlock your iPhone.
The AT&T iPhone Unlock was easy to get through eBay, or other websites like TechNak. The sellers simply submitted EMEI unlocks through their AT&T corporate accounts. It was easy and simple. But now AT&T has changed their guidelines on AT&T iPhone Unlocking. You now must have over $1,000,000 in sales through your corporate AT&T account for you to have access to the unlimited AT&T unlock server. Many iPhone sellers in the USA are very sad that the easy factory unlock service through AT&T has come to an end. Is this the end for unlocking?
I believe that it isn’t, in fact some people are starting to offer other unlock services but for higher prices. This ban on the AT&T iPhone Unlock server will also give new breath to the jailbreaking and unlocking scene!
