The Tadaa SLR app is a new addition to the free-section of Apple’s iTunes app store.  The saying: “You pay for what you get”, isn’t the case with this app.  It’s free, and its one incredible app!  There aren’t a huge amount of annoying advertising to accompany this app also and the app itself offers some of the best editing capabilities ever!

The best part about Tadaa SLR app is that it actually produces the images it says it will.  With this app, you simply select the region that is the subject and you can feather the edges with your finger to get the perfect area.  When selected, you can continue to the next stage.  The app incredibly changes the background to a perfect SLR looking macro effect.  Not only does this app produce a stunning effect, but it makes your images look like they were taken on an expensive SLR camera!  Of coarse thats what we all want right?  This app does just this!

BBM Blackberry Messenger Is Now Launched.

As you can see above the Blackberry Messenger gets release on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.  BBM has been a loved IM chat messenger for some time and apparently it’s still being used enough to warrant an app.  There is a slight possible chance that Blackberry will gain forward momentum by releasing this app, but this is not sure-fire.  In fact Blackberry has been taking on losses as we speak and the stock quote continues to decline.  The app however does give you an experience unlike many other messaging apps.  Blackberry currently supports a PIN in it’s messaging system.  You can only be logged in with one device at a time with your individual PIN.  This poses problems when you own several devices, but BBM will most likely be more successful then there previous product launch.

I’m fairly surprised that the Blackberry Messaging app was even accepted to the iTunes and Android app store.  This will be a breakthrough for Blackberry, but it might not be enough to bring Blackberry back to ground level.

Blackberry Needs To Fix It’s Business Model:

I personally purchased Blackberry stock with the thought that it would increase.  I believed that Blackberry had a significant idea for dual workplace environments on their iPhones.  However a good idea does no good if it’s implementation is flawed.  Sadly Blackberry has been loosing loyal followers because their niche is too narrow.  Not everyone wants a business only phone.  If I were Blackberry, I would implement a different marketing plan and offer much higher quality components.  For example the Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 has no automatic focus.  Many people have complained about this fact and it remains to be a thorn in many users Blackberry camera experience.  Because of the negative connotations that some devices have received in the past Blackberry continues to get a “bad rap.”  Blackberry needs to take notes from Apple.  They need to refine their smartphone even more before releasing it to the public.  They need to fix every aspect that can be fixed pre-launch.

Blackberry Needs Better Product Launches:

Blackberry also needs to improve the way they launch products.  They should keep their designs a secret until the launch.  Then the media will run out of ink when reporting.  The sensation would hit the web like when the iPhone 4 was finally found in the bar.  There are unique and different marketing approaches that Blackberry could be using in their product launches.  I believe that all hope isn’t over for Blackberry, but hope won’t continue to last much longer if Blackberry doesn’t pick up its feed and start standing taller when it comes to it’s product launches.

BBM Blackberry Messenger

Blackberry Messenger BBM has a uncertain future on both Android and iTunes app stores, but it is currently gaining momentum through positive reviews!  Some people are unhappy, but the majority are pleased with BBM and their in-app experience.  This single app release could be a liberating moment for many Blackberry users.  Many may go to an iPhone and continue to use the messaging experience, and others will transfer to a blackberry to receive the full-on BBM experience.

The image above shows all the iPhones that Apple has launched to date as seen in the iPhone Speed Test video.  In the video show below, all the iPhones are put to the test.  Each iPhone is evaluated by how fast it turns on, browses the internet and does other actions.

The most significant findings are listed below as seen in the iPhone Speed Test video:

• iOS 6 Shutdown time was much faster the the new and “improved” iOS 7.
• The 3GS did shut down the fastest which indicates iOS 6 running the fastest on it.  The 3G and then 2G follow in the shutdown test.
• When powering on these iPhones, the 5S starts fastest followed by the 5C then iPhone 5.
• It is however interesting to note that the 4S is next and then the 2G starts up.
• The iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G actually lag a little bit behind the 2G in the startup tests.
• The processing power of the iPhone 5S is immediately seen in this video in the area of web browsing.
• The iPhone 5S nearly immediately loads the front page of Apple.com.  The other iPhone 5C, 5, then 4S late a little behind but do load fairly fast.
• The iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, and 2G iPhone models do however lag a little behind as can be expected by the underpowered processing power and over powered website that it’s being asked to load.
• It is obviously evident that the iPhone 5S is much more robust then the other models.  It’s m7 coprocessor does in fact help it get many jobs done faster.

In summary, nearly all the iPhones in the iPhone Speed Test video running iOS 7 run things fairly similar in speed with the exception of the iPhone 5S.  The other models seem to load things faster and slower depending on the firmware.  In fact in some tests the iPhone 2G preformed better because it has less onboard features robbing the processing power.  The iPhone 3G is honestly one of the slowest iPhones ever made to date.  When you get the 3GS you can see a definite speed increase.

The list below is what we should expect in Apple’s new product lineup! Every time Apple prepares to release a whole new set of products, the world stands still to see what they will be.  We already have some assumptions on the different lineups.  There should be new iPads, new Macbook’s and other new products that are more then likely to hit the Apple pipeline soon after this October 22nd event!

New Apple TV

The rumor mill has it that some new features are on its way to the Apple TV.  These features including a new model may be seen in this new product lineup!  Were all excited about the current possibilities within the Apple TV.  Apple will be exploiting them in the next few years in it’s suggestions and new product upgrades.

New iPod Touch

There may be new colors of the iPod Touch that will be seen.  Apple may not decide to upgrade these devices, however it is likely that something may change and a new iPod touch will appear.  Only time will tell for the Oct. 22nd event to show us what Apple truly does have in store for us!

New Mac Pro

You can see Apple already showing off their new and innovative cylindrical Mac Pro on their website Apple.com.  This will most likely be one of the bigger launches.  It is changing the way desktop computing has been done for ages.  The round design features better air flow among many other aspects that make it a world class dominating desktop machine!

New OS X Mavericks

Mavericks is another operating system by Mac.  It has been showcased on the Apple website and most likely will be officially launched for download sometime this October.  Most likely on the 22nd.  Apple continues to merge iOS with the desktop OS X.  Some say the next release may merge it even more something like this:  iOS 7 and Mac OS X Combined.

New and Upgraded Macbook Pros

The new Haswell generation of Intel chips were upgraded in the Macbook Air laptops from Apple.  It also seems evident that the new Macbook Pro’s will also be upgrade with a like chip or possibly a better chip of the same generation. Haswell‘s improved efficiency also would give the new Macbook Pro family higher battery life time.  We all want better battery life.  This seems to be an essential upgrade that we all hope comes in the new release of the Macbook.  The release may not be this October 22nd, however some analysts say that there will be an upgrade in the Macbook Pro family.  Keep your ears in tuned to Vault Feed for more news as Apple’s event unfolds new products for us!

New iPads and Retina iPad Mini!

The new iPad lineup is questionable.  Some say that we will get Touch ID functionality, however the possibilities are limitless.  The iPad mini will most likely be upgraded to feature a new retina display.  The other iPads will most likely be upgraded to a new processor or perhaps not at all?  We do know that the iPad mini needs an upgrade.  Many people have complained about the screen resolution on the iPad mini.  The iPad mini still sold like hot cakes, however with the new iPad mini ready to launch this 22nd of October we will all see an upgrade of the display!  The Touch ID is also another aspect that many of us are dreaming of, however its for certain that this will happen.  We will however see a new and upgraded iPad mini.
