Adding a Trust seal to your site can increase your sales more than you think. TrustLock has done research on how much a trust badge can increase sales and they’ve come to the conclusion that an increase of up to 64% is possible depending on what seals you use and how you integrate with other trustworthy logos. At VaultFeed, we’re passionate about helping people increase conversions and sales online and in this article we’ll explore 6 different Trust badges and seals that can increase your sales by reducing cart abandonment and increase customer trust in your online store or website.

Below we will explore 6 different trust seals and badges that can increase your sales. We’ve ranked starting with the best first and our least favorite last.

Scroll to the bottom for our summary with best combinations and examples.

Trust seals and badge summary

Choosing the best trust seal for you really depends on your budget. if you have $5000+ per year you want to spend on a seal, you may want to choose something like Norton with a combination of a business verification such as the TrustLock Verified Business seal at $9/mo. However, if you’re like most website owners who wouldn’t rather spend too much, we’d recommend going with TrustLock PRO verification package which starts at only $19.99 and comes with a sales increase guarantee. The verification includes a ‘Verified Business’ badge, a ‘Verified Safe Privacy’ badge and a ‘Verified SSL Secure’ badge. With TrustLock, you get 3 verifications for only $19.99, while other services cost astronomically higher prices and you only get one verification seal or badge.

We also like Trust Lock because they seem to be the most professional badge and verification service that won’t ding you badly on the price and gives you 3 options of verification that can be used on different sections of your site to address different customer concerns at the perfect time. (Learn more about TrustLock: https://TrustLock.co)

We’ve seen great results with TrustLock being combined with other pre-made badges and credit card logos as seen below:

As you can see this landing page/checkout page features official logos showing what the service works with and combines this with a Stripe logo and ‘safe and secure’ text above trustworthy credit card brands. They’ve combined all this with the TrustLock verified business and Verified SSL SECURE which is one of the best combination ideas we’ve seen so far. This also has check marks next to reasons to buy which also all together really help to boost conversions over 250% as a combined total from the original with no trust badges or logos before.

There are other trust badge companies we haven’t discussed that may also increase conversions and sales, however, we think that testing badges on your own website is the only sure-fire way to know it’s true effectiveness.

Google glass is known for its glasses that can be used as a tech gadget to accompany your life. However there are other companies that want in on this new and emerging market. Lumus is one of these competitors that is looking to overthrow Google with its stylish design and completely awesome interface named the lumus DK-40. Google has a strong background in technology and they stand a good chance at getting their product marketed easily. However Lumus has their own history and a background ready to drive them to potential success! Lumus is well known for their creation of most HUD display unites in US Air Force Machinery. They are taking their chances in creating a consumer product using similar technologies that they have experience with.

As you can see, the DK-40-lumus smart glasses have some style along with their boasted potential. The google glass has a smaller screen inside the glass, however this DK-40 model created by Lumus, boasts a 640×480 display that spans the entire circumference of the right eye’s lens. You can also see through it which could be a very interesting concept indeed! This product will be showcased at the 2014 CES with the DEV kit and SDK. At that time we will see what the software will do. For now its only a beautiful looking prototype.

With Google glass being launched to the public in the soon future, this would be a great period in history to launch such a competing product. If the creators of the DK-40 can get their hands in the door with this device, it may lead to future development in the glasses related tech segment.

We hope the software installed and used on this device is as good as it looks from the exterior, however we will keep you updated on the developments of the Lumus DK-40 and future “glass” competitors that may emerge in the coming years!

Rumores are gripping the internet hemisphere concerning the new Galaxy S5. Samsung has been caught in cross-fire over “copying” Apple’s products in the past, but it looks like they may subtly copy Apple’s Aluminum casings seen in iPhone 5/5S models vie their new Galaxy S5. This isn’t just a rumor as InternationalBusinessTimes reports! In fact a translated Japanese publication EMSOnes claims that Samsung has already ordered their S5 housings via their preferred suppliers. We can see the trend moving towards the aluminum standard of fine design, but is Samsung clearly copying Apple? Obviously aluminum isn’t a copyrightable element so its not likely that Samsung will get served any lawsuit, but from the exterior of this situation, it does seem a little interesting that Samsung is moving to the Aluminum side.

(The image above produced by PhoneArena is a possible concept of the aluminum housed S5)

Samsung does need to upgrade their device line when it comes to the “quality feel” aspect. Most of Samsung’s previous models, while providing a excellent user experience, had lacked the solid feel that continues to enchant iPhone users dating back to the iPhone 4. Most Samsung fans won’t want to admit that Samsung is copying Apple in any way, however via EMSOnes, the Samsung S5’s aluminum casings will be produced via a Taiwanese company named Catcher Technologies, which ends up being the same company behind Apple’s aluminum iPad casings. If the aluminum cases are coming from the same factory, it bags the question, is Samsung following Apple too close for comfort? Will this pose antitrust issues with the suppliers? These are just a few questions that may be asked. However Samsung Galaxy fans can raise their hope for a better quality S5!

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 will most likely feature a 64-bit processor confirmed by Samsung and ARM last week. It will launch the first ever 14nm 64-bit Exynos 6 CPU chips in 2014 and are expected to dominate in the next S5 launch. There are also other features that may accompany the new Samsung Galaxy S5 including a 16MP ISOCELL camera and 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD and 560 ppi resolution. If we’re lucky, this new S5 smartphone might come with a long lasting 4,000 mAh battery life. Ohh and it also might have a curved screen? what else could you want?

If Samsung does in fact use aluminum in their new Galaxy, fans will praise the quality and accept aluminum as their new standard, however Apple seems to innovate in the plastic century via the newest iPhone 5C. Will smartphone casing popularity stick with the aluminum or the plastic counterparts? This is unknown, but Galaxy fans around the world are getting excited about the new Galaxy S5. At some point this might be the most popular smartphone on the market.

What do you think? Does Samsung have a chance at creating the most loved aluminum and glass clad smartphones?

It sounds crazy, but Amazon is truly amazing everyone right now. They have taken Drone delivery to the next level by aiming to use them as a delivery device. As cool as it sounds, it might be the best commercial ever produced! People will pay their condolences to sites like eBay if they can get their merchandise in just 30 minutes via drone delivery! Many people are looking down on this idea as simply a unique marketing ploy to gather more business however with the existence of Amazon Prime and order fulfillment going to the next level, these 30-minute drone deliveries would truly take online ordering to the next level all together!

Most people think of “drones” as a controversial weapons and surveillance product, however with this new drone delivery idea via Amazon, ordering online could change! Especially when you don’t have to wait more then 30 minutes. In fact this is easier then going to the store, and as we all know, much cheaper! Amazon cuts prices and many deals can be found which undercut most big box and small retailers when it comes to the price index. This would just be one more reason to use Amazon. Its genius, and a “dreamy” idea at best, but could this pose any threats to its existence?

The existence of drone propelled shipping (drone delivery) could induce a succession ill-wanted actions. For example, if anyone wanted to simply have some fun, they might shoot them down out of the sky with a small gun or legal BB gun. I don’t want to give anyone ideas, but this seems to be a threat that could quite decently present itself. I personally think that the existence of such a service may be jeopardized by many obvious issues that could potentially plague the idea. I do however applaud Amazon to being the first to try this out. While it may not work, its a great idea and could prove essential in driving innovation when it comes to shipping and delivery.

Want to see it in action? Watch the video below and see for yourself how cool this would in fact be!

(Source: CBS)

As you can see the drone delivery idea is amazing, but execution will be essential. It does however make me wonder why the USPS, or other countries shipping systems haven’t collaborated with a similar drone delivery idea. It could seriously aid the process, save money, and create more customers. I can imagine a fleet of drones carrying many packages and dropping them off at various locations along the way. If they could create a safe air path for these drones and if their noise levels were substantially low, this idea could thrive! What do you think?

As of now, this feature will only be available to anyone living within 10 miles, and each package will obviously have a weight limit disclosed. At some point this may be changed to accept heaver weight limits, but the future for this service could be limitless. Lets just hope the FAA works with Amazon to achieve this shipping dream!

I can’t wait to see what future awaits such an idea. What do you think? Leave your comments about drone delivery below:

If you haven’t already heard of the new LG G Flex smartphone, your in for a surprise! While Apple works on its high quality exterior and durability, LG decides to take it to a completely different dimension. With the LG G Flex, you can literally flex it! Other then cool looking curved display, the internals and screen itself are built with the “flex” in mind! The video seen below shows just how crazy and ridiculous this LG G Flex really is. Not only is it flexible, but it is self-healing.

You can see in the video below that the LG G-Flex actually flexes and morphs itself to remove the scratches that are placed on it. Lg actually did a demonstration of the G Flex via an advertisement. In this controlled advertisement, they repeatedly put scratches on the G Flex’s rear panel. After awhile, the back panel actually self-healed and the scratches were nearly gone completely. This technology has never been seen before and were pretty excited to actually see the first actual results. You can see them listed below in the video.

As you can see his environment in New York city was not the warmest and because of that you can imagine the less effective self-healing follows suit. However the concept that is seen in the new LG G Flex is truly incredible. The fact that it works is also truly incredible.

This LG G Flex also stands true to its name. It can actually be flexed fairly well and doesn’t break at all! Although it is unknown as to what happens to the internals, the actual seen abilities that this smartphone does in fact have are incredible!

With the Samsung Galaxy Round being released, the competition is still unknown as to which will win the battle of the “round.” LG may win the “flex”, and “round” battle given the LG G Flex is the first to the table with actual self-healing technology and a flexible shell.

I personally am not extremely excited about a “round” design, however the concept of flexibility and self-healing is something that I think we all can get excited about! My question is when will the iPhone feature such technology? Also how does this self-healing material feel to touch? Will it have the same “quality” feel that all of us want? These are all questions that have yet to be answered by anything but the future. Only time will tell, but were all excited to see what the future brings

Via: Gizmodo

Blackberry is picking up where they left off with the earlier and previous Z10 and Q10 models. These Q30 concepts, if made a reality would give users the keyboard and the touch screen all with a great design! Not only are these designs completely awesome, but they are also a definite possibility! These photoshopped image of the preconceived Blackberry Q30 were recently posted by an active CrackBerry user. They depict a perfect escalation of the Q10 and its developments into the new Q30. This Q30 design features a semi edge-to-edge display that would look better than any hybrid keyboard and touch phone available on the market! These sketches aren’t 100% reality at this point, but many people feel that the design would suit Blackberry well.

As you can see this new design would feature the edge-to-edge glass display that would cary up most of front of the devices real-estate. The Blackberry Q30 has not been launched yet by Blackberry, but we’re sure that they are taking notes and possibly hiring up the genius minds that sketch up these concepts. This is one of the best looking blackberry phones I’ve seen. I personally hope that the adopt this concept in some ways at least! I think Blackberry could make their product along the lines of these concept sketch ups. Obviously they could make some edits and additions to the design, but overall it wouldn’t look bad at all!

This first black design would feature a black back housing most likely. The front seems to be a gradience of black to sliver, which is a cool concept. I hope that Blackberry chooses a hybrid aluminum unibody design for the back. I wouldn’t personally appreciate the carbon fiber look for the back as they did with the Z30. Carbon fiber looks cool, but sometimes it can take on a “cheap” and “fake” feel. This obviously isn’t what Blackberry wants, so if I were to advise, Id stick with a solid aluminum back with laser etched lettering.

The other two colors are also really nice featuring white. I think that the more squared look appears a little better, but depending on the trends, it seems to be possible. The Blackberry Q30 will be a great phone if they implement a similar design to this. I truly hope they do!

I personally believe that Blackberry has a chance in the market. They have a niche, and with all this talk of the Blackberry company failing, its easy to loose hope on the company. However I believe that the “doomsday talk” around the internet blogsphere isn’t a fair representation of the reality of Blackberry and its company state. You can read my post on why I believe Blackberry can succeed here: Blackberry Has a Niche Market. I do believe that these concepts would make Blackberry look even better and I truly hope Blackberry is taking notes via the fellow blogger on CrackBerry Blackberry Forum, and via BlackberryEmpire.

Would you buy a Blackberry if it resembled the Q10 blackberry concepts above?

Our technology news for today indicates a breakthrough in deregulation via the FAA regarding smartphone and cell phone use in airplanes. For many years you were unable to use cell phones in airplanes. The FAA thought that the cell phone signals would mess with the airplanes communications systems, however this is a comp;pete myth that is based on no actual proof. In fact using cell phones with a cell phone signal has never caused an accident in the history of airplane and FAA communication history. The fact that they regulated it in the first place shows how shallow some regulations can be!

The FAA has many solid regulations to keep pilots and passengers safe, however the restriction on cell phone use in airline’s flights wasn’t based on any actual risk or evidence. As of today, this regulation has been removed now allowing consumers to use their smartphones or iPhones. You will now be able to enjoy Pandora radio, Candy Crush Saga, or other games and apps that require internet. Recent airlines have offered in-air wi-fi use and this might take a hit to their internet revenue channel, however we are all happy to see that this needless regulation is gone!

The FAA has reported that this regulation is removed however it will take up to 2 months to complete the deregulation on all the airlines. They will have to re-recored their pre-flight videos, but passengers will enjoy having the ability to use internet, check emails, and play internet necessary games!

Smartphone and cell phone users will have the delight in using their internet and other apps during take-off and landing, but some airlines won’t have service in the air. Some airlines including Sprint and many others won’t have the convince of in-air service. Their towers don’t extend above the clouds.

However with this new deregulation in airline smartphone use may cause airlines to increase their cell phone tower reach! This might get interesting.

Talk around the web seems to indicate that BlackBerry is getting close to their final death. However I believe that BlackBerry still has a chance in the market today. Sites including iBTimes seem to foresee BlackBerry’s death by posting negative press on its future, but the end isn’t here for BlackBerry! Blackberry RIM has a niche, and with that hope for the future!

BlackBerry has created devices since 1999 when it first created a pager, and now continues to make smartphones in 2013. People seem to side with the iPhone or an Android variant phones but many people still buy Blackberry devices. Blackberry has the business niche cornered better than any other niche, and if they market for that and work towards creating the best business phones they could succeed in the long run!

Many smartphone manufacturers have attempted to gain traction with the business smartphone niche, but because most consumers don’t need business phones, it takes away from the potential market possibilities. Because of the thin market for business smartphones, no other makes a smartphone that can truly compete with Blackberry and their Enterprise Server features. BlackBerry has focused on the business smartphone niche, and they have done a good job.

However I believe that BlackBerry has even another feature that could set them even further apart from other possible competition. This is the Multi-Platform Device Management. This feature implemented on BlackBerry devices allows businesses to manage how their devices are used during work times. If an employee wants to access their favorite websites, they will most likely try on the company computer. If that fails to work, they will get on their smartphone and visit the website they want. They will surf Facebook and waste a lot of time! Forbes recently noted on the wast of time and saying “64 percent of employees visit non-work related websites every day at work. Of that group, 39 percent spend one hour or less per week, 29 percent spend 2 hours per week, 21 percent waste five hours per week, and only 3 percent said they waste 10 hours or more doing unrelated activities.” Russ Warner, CEO of ContentWatch, also noted “My experience as a CEO tells me these figures are probably underestimated.” This is sad!

As you can see, employees are wasting their time. BlackBerry however has a niche through their Multi-Platform Device Management that corrects this problem perfectly in a way that no other smartphone efficiently can do. Employers can simply adjust the uses for the blackberry in the workspace. As soon as an employee clocks into work, their smartphone disallows certain time wasters like Facebook and others (this is determined by the policy that the employer sets). This equates to a more efficient workplace. BlackBerry may not be the best smartphone on the market, but from an employer’s view, this device could save a company millions of dollars per year in lost work efficiency!

Because of these hard facts, I believe that BlackBerry still has a good chance at capturing the market in a way that no other manufacturer can.

Do you believe that the Multi-Platform Device Management on BlackBerry smartphones is enough to revive BlackBerry and bring them from their potential grave to a new and higher success? Please leave your comments below:

The famous Blackberry Messenger app is released for iPhone & Android. BBM was one of the best apps that most blackberry devices had and used. However the decline in Blackberry use and the sad stock quote indicates that BBM may never be what it used to be! Users are flocking to other smartphone providers for an enhanced user experience. There are indications of a flawed company structure and poorly handled launch when it comes to Blackberry in genera, but will BBM be the one last chance for Blackberry to capture a attentive audience?

BBM Blackberry Messenger Is Now Launched.

As you can see above the Blackberry Messenger gets release on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. BBM has been a loved IM chat messenger for some time and apparently it’s still being used enough to warrant an app. There is a slight possible chance that Blackberry will gain forward momentum by releasing this app, but this is not sure-fire. In fact Blackberry has been taking on losses as we speak and the stock quote continues to decline. The app however does give you an experience unlike many other messaging apps. Blackberry currently supports a PIN in it’s messaging system. You can only be logged in with one device at a time with your individual PIN. This poses problems when you own several devices, but BBM will most likely be more successful then there previous product launch.

You can download the BBM software using the links below:

iPhone — BBM Blackberry Messenger

Android — BBM Blackberry Messenger

I’m fairly surprised that the Blackberry Messaging app was even accepted to the iTunes and Android app store. This will be a breakthrough for Blackberry, but it might not be enough to bring Blackberry back to ground level.

Blackberry Needs To Fix It’s Business Model:

I personally purchased Blackberry stock with the thought that it would increase. I believed that Blackberry had a significant idea for dual workplace environments on their iPhones. However a good idea does no good if it’s implementation is flawed. Sadly Blackberry has been loosing loyal followers because their niche is too narrow. Not everyone wants a business only phone. If I were Blackberry, I would implement a different marketing plan and offer much higher quality components. For example the Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 has no automatic focus. Many people have complained about this fact and it remains to be a thorn in many users Blackberry camera experience. Because of the negative connotations that some devices have received in the past Blackberry continues to get a “bad rap.” Blackberry needs to take notes from Apple. They need to refine their smartphone even more before releasing it to the public. They need to fix every aspect that can be fixed pre-launch.

Blackberry Needs Better Product Launches:

Blackberry also needs to improve the way they launch products. They should keep their designs a secret until the launch. Then the media will run out of ink when reporting. The sensation would hit the web like when the iPhone 4 was finally found in the bar. There are unique and different marketing approaches that Blackberry could be using in their product launches. I believe that all hope isn’t over for Blackberry, but hope won’t continue to last much longer if Blackberry doesn’t pick up its feed and start standing taller when it comes to it’s product launches.

BBM Blackberry Messenger

Blackberry Messenger BBM has a uncertain future on both Android and iTunes app stores, but it is currently gaining momentum through positive reviews! Some people are unhappy, but the majority are pleased with BBM and their in-app experience. This single app release could be a liberating moment for many Blackberry users. Many may go to an iPhone and continue to use the messaging experience, and others will transfer to a blackberry to receive the full-on BBM experience.

Will you download the BBM messenger? Do you think BBM will save Blackberry from it’s current devastating company condition? Leave your comments below:

During the first quarter of 2013 Apple sold over 34 million iPhones and nearly 20 million iPads. That is a phenomenal amount of product distributed globally to consumers, who are hungrier than ever to purchase their products and services online. The question is this; can you really afford for your business site to NOT be optimised to be seen easily on these kind of products, (Android technology is incredibly popular too), by consumers you are targeting?

What is a responsive web design?

A responsive website automatically alters itself to be seen and searched easily on whatever product it is being accessed by. You have tablets, phones, Macs and pc’s. All these products offer the consumer different kinds of viewing experiences. A static site will not alter it’s appearance and likely be too large for an iphone and also may suffer the same issues with various tablets and alternative browsers too. Here are the three ways you can have a responsive website set up for your business by your web design company:

Have a website built from the ground up to be completely responsive to iPhones, iPads and any other technology that is likely to access it. Due to the fact you are building the site from the ground up it is easier to make small alterations should you need to tweak certain aspects of your site to make it perfectly accessible to a portal.

For those on a tighter budget you can simply purchase a pre made template design that has been built to be responsive. I would say that you will end up with a product that is 85 – 90% responsive most of the time with this strategy. Most of the common tablets and smart phones will be covered here. The only real issue is that you will have to pay extra for anyone to make the delicate tweaks required should the site not be accessible responsively on a product like you would with a totally bespoke design.

You can build a mobile, tablet and pc/mac version of your site. This is really expensive, though is most likely to be accurate in its responsiveness to as wide a product set as is possible.

The power of Apps

It is worth remembering that apps are incredibly important and should be invested in as a business should your budget allow it. Having a potential client or customer find you through a simple app click is incredibly powerful. The better and more useful/intriguing your application, the more people will download it to help them when they are in need of a product or service that you supply. Apps will be designed to be able to be accessed through mobile, tablet or desk top appliances.

Are you getting it yet?

There are likely to be over 100 million Apple products sold in 2013 alone. Add Android to this and the various other players out there and you have a massive market place that your website needs to be seen in. Your potential clientele don’t want to waste time trying to get your site to fit a screen so they can see it. Getting a website to be easily accessible across the whole spectrum of smart technologies has never been easier. You really do not have any excuse….unless you are not interested in tapping into that potential. Put your website in mobile gear for the next generation of websites to appear!
