The new Galaxy Gear Smartwatch & Galaxy Note 3 gets advertised in this video depicting some creepy puppets and more!

When it comes to competitive marketing, the one who produces the most edgy ad that gets people interested wins! Samsung seems to be getting a little creepy though with its new onslaught of commercial TV ads. Its not the first time Samsung has marketed with an edgy style, and it isn’t the last!

If you think the image above is creepy, then your just touching the surface of Samsung’s new ad featuring the Note 3, and Gear, which essentially is the Galaxy Gear Smartwatch. This Galaxy Smartwatch, we recently saw in our last post (Galaxy Gear Smartwatch Win Or Fail & Images). It be the first smart watch to hit big with many tech users.

The concept of a Apple iWatch smart watch also has been in development by Apple for some time now. It was also made fun of in a video recently by Microsoft. Is the idea of a “watch” that is smart worth making fun of? Samsung doesn’t think so, as their worldwide marketing campaign has started off with the video seen below.

As you can see its a weird introduction for Samsung and their new product lineup.

Only time will tell how successful these new products will prove to be. Apple is reportedly working to build their own Apple iWatch smart watch. It seems that this is quite possibly the direction that mobile technology is taking consumers. Samsung is the first to hit the marketing effort in selling these watches.

The death of the the Smartwatch:

I honestly believe that the concept of an iWatch, or Smartwatch by either Samsung or Apple is a unique idea indeed. Not only is it unique, but it’s also risky! People bought smartphones because they wanted ONE device to do what their laptop and phone and GPS did. Now people are trying to add another accessory that is unnecessary. This Smartwatch revolution is destined to fail if it doesn’t capture a need that isn’t already fulfilled by the smartphone itself. No one is going to buy or use a watch that does nothing uniquely different then their smartphone. In other words, if its doing the same thing, you won’t need 2. The only place where a smart watch would be useful, is if it did everything your smartphone does. If this were to happen, the “Smartwatch” idea would sell itself! But until this point, the death of the smart watch will most likely be seen after the smart-watch-fade fades off. Its a neat fad and idea, but with no real need.

What are your thoughts on the Smartwatch? Leave your comments below:

Did you know that ALL your photos can track you down to exactly where you took them? You probably didn’t know that! – ANY of your pictures that you post to your Facebook account or share via email have location tracking information that shows exactly where every one was taken, down to the EXACT street! This is a really cool feature if you want to remember where a photo was taken, however it could pose HUGE threats if you don’t protect yourself when using this feature. This feature is enabled on most iPhones, Androids and blackberry devices. Your privacy isn’t totally compromised, because we are going to show you step by step simple instructions on how to TURN-OFF this location tracking feature so you wont have issues when you share your photos.

We all like to share our cool photos on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest but the threats of using your smartphone is higher then you would normally think. Lets say you share a picture of your new office that you just moved into. Well thats cool, however most images are publicly available and if someone sees that picture, all they have to do is put it into special programs or just upload it to an iPhone and see exactly where it was taken! In fact you can see the coordinates of where each picture was taken just by looking at the “get info” on that photo.

Without special care to removing these location based photo tracking systems, you could be vulnerable to theft, rape, and other things that you don’t want! Ill show you in the following instructions how to remove these options inside your smartphone, iPhone, or Blackberry device. Don’t worry, you can begin again with a new level of protection. If you know anyone that could be vulnerable to these threats because of their photo tracking phone, make sure they know what their phone is doing each time they take a picture. If you share this, you could save your friends a lot of trouble if a photo was compromised and someone found the exact location of where you lived?

if your girlfriend was super smart and geeky, she could ruin your surprise by finding your location if you ever posted a photo on your way to see her! This is the least of your worries. Some people’s things get stolen because people can track the location of where the photo was taken, and hence showing where the things are for theives to steal. Change your settings soon so you wont be compromised.

How To Turn Off Location Photo Tracking On iPhone / iPad / IOS

Head to the “Settings” app

Select “General”

Select “Location Services”

Set Camera to “Off”

Some older versions of IOS cannot turn off location based services on all apps at a time. You will have to select the location based services individually or just update your iPhone. If you have a iPhone 3G, you wont be able to update and thats just too bad; you own a Apple, and its rotten. Sorry!

How To Turn Off Location Photo Tracking On Android Phones

Start your “camera” application

Hit the “Settings” button

Scroll on down and find the “GPS Tag” option and turn it to “off”

If you have an older Android version it may be called “Store Location,” but the process stays the same to switch it off!

How To Turn Off Location Photo Tracking On Windows Phone 7 / 8

Go into Settings

Select “Applications”

Go down to “Pictures & Camera”

Set “include location (GPS) info in Pictures you take” to “Off”

How To Turn Off Location Photo Tracking On Blackberry Devices

Open the “Camera” app

Set Location icon to “Disabled”

For most earlier versions, select the Menu and Option buttons before changing your setting to “Disabled.”

Now you can rest easy and know that the pictures you share from now on wont be giving out confidential information pertaining to your location. If your settings are configured the way directed above you wont have any problems with location being attached to your photos, however if you are very serious and very worried call your phone service line to make sure you are covered. There are no other methods that we have found other then the methods listed above.

Next Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Will Shoot 4K 3840×2160 Resolution Video! – The new galaxy Note 3 will be made soon by Samsung and the Galaxy line, however the competition is Hot with Apple close ahead in individual model sales of the iPad and iPad mini. Apple has been focusing on design lately and has produced some amazing products! Weather its an iPad, iPhone, iPod, or even an iPod shuffle, Apple has spent their diligent time designing. However the actual resolution of the iPhone and iPad hasn’t got an upgrade in awhile.

Recently we covered the Nokia Lumia 1020 and its camera via the commercial video that is getting heavily marketed on Facebook and ads around the web. It now looks like Samsung is preparing a new camera that will shoot in 4K to compete with the new Nokia Lumia 41 Mega Pixel camera phone!

Samsung knows this fact and they are banking every marketing dollar on the new Galaxy Note 3, which will reportedly shoot 4K video, which is essentially 3840×2160 Resolution Video. This truly is a great leap in video shooting technology on tablets. Most tablets don’t cary the best hardware for taking pictures, however Samsung is changing that! This new Note 3 by Samsung, wont be your normal iPad or tablet, it will be an incredible super-charged tablet infused with this new 3840×2160 Resolution camera that shoots 4K video!

The actual design of the new Galaxy Note 3, may not change as much, however the internals will be good. We know this for sure. Samsung has been making market headway with the galaxy and its smartphones as well, but the tablet tech industry is still wanting better and better devices. The real question now is will Apple respond in this next iPhone 5S with a better camera? You can see in our previous post about the Gold iPhone 5S vs black and white, that the camera is different. This indicates that the Apple iPhone 5S coming this September will feature a better camera then the iPhone 5. We don’t technically know exactly how good the new iPhone 5S will be. However it will be an interesting battle between Apple and Samsung when it comes to the new hardware and camera possibilities of the next generation!

Samsung and other producers are also coming out with “4K” TV technology which will be met will with Samsung’s Note 3 which will be aptly used with TV’s of this kind! Currently most TV’s are HD and have excellent resolution but some are definitely lacking in the resolution district. Samsung will continue to raise the bar when it comes to resolution, Screen PPI, and TV functionality.

The real question is will Apple come out with a iTV, or similar flat screen featuring a solid retina display? This would obviously be the best thing ever and it would also be incredibly expensive as the retina technology is still fairly expensive!

It will be interesting to see how Samsung and other TV makers will integrate smartphone functionality into their future handsets and tablets. I personally believe that in the future the standard remote that usually comes packaged with each TV wont be “standard” anymore, instead it will be a free app, on an app that you have to buy that will accompany the TV unit that you decide to use. Apple also is said to be producing a iTV in the future! We will keep you update on that also.

[INFOGRAPHIC]" href="http://VaultFeed.com/iphone-addiction-what-is-life-like-without-iphone-apps/">iPhone addiction – What Is Life Like Without iPhone Apps? – This study comes from eBay. eBay has been known for a lot of bad ebay things and good ebay things. Recently we reviewed the WOES of an eBay customer. However this post is done by an eBay study of over 200 participants so it should be fairly credible!

200 people were entered into this study. Each of the participants was able to us iPhone apps and then not use any iPhone apps for 4 days. The results are very interesting as it shows how much we really do rely on our iPhones and smartphones in our everyday lives! It also shows a possible addiction trend since the rise of the smartphone!

eBay challenged these participants to really see how life is without apps. Its very interesting that over 1/3 of ALL of the participants couldn’t actually make it through the 4 days. They couldn’t handle the loss of not having their iPhone. This truly shows an addiction!

As seen bellow the most common us sages of your iPhone are as follows:

Social networking with iPhone apps.

Photo sharing via apps and networks

Navigation and GPS functionality.

Daily weather apps.

Most people as you can read and see bellow felt utterly powerless and lost without their iPhone and apps. This also is another strong indicator that your smartphone is in fact addicting! The other facts are in the image bellow.

Should smartphone usage really be this deeply addicting in our daily lives? I personally feel that this addiction could be ruining our society IQ and making it slightly harder for our lives to continue in more normal ways. Before we lived fine, but after we can’t live without it? Isn’t this a bad thing?

Summary:

This info graphic re-uncovers the understated fact that out iPhones and smartphones are addicting though the pas we use daily. We can’t do anything without them! What if someone too away our iPhones? Our smartphones? And our computers what would happen? Chaos might actually happen! What do you think?
