Infographic Study Confirms That You Play iPhone Games In The Bathroom More Then You Want To Admit!

Infographic Study Confirms That You Play iPhone Games In The BathroomYES, its true.  This may be (TMI) Too much information, however the truth is the truth, and honestly I find this true for my self.  Most of the time I use the restroom as an excuse to check my email, visit a website, check my blog stats, or play a game.  However it turns out that it is true that most users found in the inforgraphic and study presented by Blackberry actually spend their leisure game playing time either in the bathroom or in the bedroom.  Honestly there has to be better things to do in your room then that, however this study confirms the opposite; people are playing those good old games on their mobile smartphones…

Its also interesting to note within this infographic that most users hate to pay for games that cost money along the way to play, instead they like to buy the game once, play it as many times as they want and only have that one time payment.  However IOS developers are monotizing on the fact that they will make more if they can trap the user in a pleasure-trap within the game, and then snare their money by giving them a unstoppable gaming experience directing to an ongoing payment structure for more levels etc.  IOS developers however realize that buyers only want to pay from $.01-$.99 on either an app or a “level” within a game.  So the seize the opportunity of giving away the application for “free” then charging later on when you cant simply stop.  Its sad, but you as a gaming consumer with a smartphone is the perfect place for developer profit!

Read the bellow infographic as it shows just how real these facts are.  Now you can remember what is “really” happening when your friend is taking a long time in that special room! (lol intended)

This also indicates that because only 10% of people are using their cell phones during TV use that the “TV” is actually more interesting then the game app.  Developers should take note.  Their taking your business yo! 😉  Its also interesting to note that 30% of people are actually playing games while at work.  This seems startling because people should obviously be working, but most people don’t want to work anyways, so games seem to be the easiest and convenient option for your day of boredom and employment!  However if you want to keep your job for longer then a few months I would advise to get working and stop playin’  Your employer is now informed of the reality of game playing in the workplace.

Blackberry Smartphone’s In The Workplace:

Blackberry is actually trying to fix the workplace issue by providing a device and infrastructure with “allowed” apps that only work within the hours of availability pre-indicated by the employer.  Its a genius Idea and I believe that the percentage will decrease as listed above as businesses opt for Blackberry smartphones in order to get better productivity.
