iPhone 5S vs. iPhone 5C Battery Comparison vs. Older iPhone 5

The new Apple iPhone 5S is here along with the iPhone 5C; the more colorful and cheaper iPhone version. Along with all this news we recently posted on the iPhone 5S vs iPhone 5 benchmark speed test. It was clearly evident as seen in that post that the iPhone 5S is remarkably faster then the iPhone 5 in speed and in Fps during a graphics intensive game. But with good graphics you need a good battery.

Now we bring to you the battery specs and comparison of the older iPhone 5 to the iPhone 5S, and 5C. Below you will see the iPhone ‘s battery sizes, their capacity and comparison between the other models also.

As you can see, the iPhone 5’s battery only has a mAh rating of 1440, while the iPhone 5S gets rated at 1570 mAh vs the Apple iPhone 5C at aprox. 1507 mAh. This truly does show that the iPhone 5S does have an advantage over the other models. Lets just see how Apple literally manages the faster speed and processing with the battery size. Considering it is more then a 100 mAh upgrade, that essentially is a good upgrade. The only problem I could see is the fact that they are putting so much more into the new iPhone 5S so that it weakens the actual battery life. However the battery specs below show that it is indeed an improvement even considering the improved performance factors!

As you can see it isn’t different at all really. The iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S have the same battery life. YES, the 5S has more mAh then the iPhone 5C, but the 5S will use more because of tis fingerprint reading and other enhanced features as well as the faster processor! In fact I think that the iPhone 5C will in the end be faster, because it has the same chip as the iPhone 5 and it also has a new and better battery vs. the iPhone 5. So that improvement alone should prove to be better then the iPhone 5 as seen above in the mAh report.

Apple has been known to have some sad battery life, so lets see if they fix their battery woes once and for all on these next new iPhone handsets!
